United Nations Global Compact launches custom website for the Chinese market

BEIJING, 11 November 2019 – The United Nations Global Compact has today launched a new website aimed at stakeholders in the Chinese market. The website provides information about corporate social responsibility and business engagement with the UN Global Compact in Mandarin.
The launch of the website took place at a media roundtable attended by Hongbin Ren, member of the UN Global Compact Board and Vice Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council of China; Nicholas Rosellini, UN Resident Coordinator in China; and Meng Liu, Head of Asia and Pacific Networks at the UN Global Compact, along with numerous representatives of Chinese media organizations.
The UN Global Compact currently has over 300 business and civil society participants in China. Global Compact Network China has been in operation since 2011.
