Global Compact Provides Update on Leaders Summit

(New York, 17 May 2010) – Today, the Global Compact Office released an update on the upcoming Global Compact Leaders Summit 2010, to be held on 24-25 June in New York. Based on a series of webinars for corporate participants of the Global Compact, the attached document is intended to provide further details on the Leaders Summit's agenda, confirmed speakers and expected key deliverables. Already, more than 600 leaders representing business, civil society, governments, academia, and the UN have confirmed their attendance at the largest-ever UN Summit on the issue of corporate responsibility.
