New website to support companies in the development of advanced annual reporting on issues related to human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

(Paris, 12 October 2015) – Today, Global Compact Network France launched an online platform to provide support and relevant resources to companies working to achieve an advanced level of sustainability reporting. It provides companies with the necessary tools to improve their sustainability performance on issues such as human rights, anti-corruption, good governance, environment, and support to UN goals, and to publish annually required Communications on Progress (COPs) that meet the UN Global Compact’s highest differentiation level of reporting, GC Advanced.

This interactive platform includes testimonials, the sustainability business case, videos, and elaborations on the 21 criteria of the GC Advanced COP level.

Global Compact participants are welcome to submit case studies illustrating good practices in sustainability and join the movement towards high-quality reporting.

Globally, over 600 companies have submitted at least one COP at the GC Advanced level from the years 2011 to 2015 of which close to 10% are French participants. Today around 50 companies from France submit COPs at the GC Advanced Level as compared to 25 in 2013.

Cop-advanced.org was developed by Global Compact Network France through its GC Advanced Working Group. This working group gathers ambitious and forward-looking companies from a number of sectors and sizes. It is a forum for dialogue and collective learning with the aim of moving forward together in the implementation of the UN Global Compact’s GC Advanced criteria.
